The artificial reservoir known as the Lake of Jazan Dam is located in Wadi Jizan about 16 km (9.9 miles) northeast of Abu Arish in Jizan province in southwestern Saudi Arabia. Built in 1970, a dam in the desert collects runoff and stores it for periodic discharge downstream. The reservoir has several purposes including irrigation and flood control. . Located on the east side of AlUla, Jabal Ithlib is a natural mountain that once served as a place of worship for the Nabateans. Famous for its stunning temples and inscriptions, the mountain’s main attraction is the ‘Diwan’, which is a large room carved into the rocks and is believed to have been the venue for lavish banquets as well as a meeting room dedicated to the leaders of the city. Al-Qarah mountain "Jabal Al-Qarah" also known as "Al-shaba'an mountain" located between At-Tuwaitheer village and Al-Qarah village in Al-ahsa at the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.[1] This mountain counts as one of the most important natural sights in Al-Ahsa and is registered in the UNESCO world heritage centre's list in 2018, after the inclusion of Al-Ahsa oasis. It's positioned 15 kilometers away of Al-hofuf east.
