Located on the road to Mbouda, right after the intersection Dschang-Bafoussam, and across from the water treatment facility. . . . . . . . This is the place where the French colonial army used to throw Cameroonians opposed to their system into the waterfalls during the dark years of Cameroon.

Baham is a commune of Cameroon located in the West region , it is the capital of the Hauts-Plateaux department , in Bamileke country. In February 1957, the colonial authorities formally dismissed the traditional chief Pierre Kamdem Ninyim , imprisoned for three months for his sympathies for the nationalist party UPC . The place where the ancestors of the people were born is always considered sacred. Among the Bahama people, this is the cave of Fovu (La grotte sacrée Fovu). . . The sacred cave of Baham is a field of granite rocks under which dark spaces are used for rites. The Fovu cave designates a set of natural cavities and a sacred site of purification, washings and mystical practices in Baham , in Bamileke country, in Cameroon in the West region.
